Chet Baker Jazz Festival October 1st., 2016


Chet Baker Jazz Festival to be held October 1, 2016 downtown Yale, Ok.    Festival will begin at 4pm and continue until 10pm    Several Jazz musician will be here to play     There will be some history of Yale and Chet Baker and Jim Thorpe posted down town.    Bring your lawn chair and enjoy a night out.    Food trucks will be available for your convenience.  

Christmas With Santa 2016

Santa will come to town December  1st. at 6:30 pm.  
American Legion will have there Chili and Stew Dinner starting at 5pm.
Chamber will have there Drawings for everyone to enjoy.
 

Yale's 4th of July Fireworks 2017

Yale's 4th of July Fireworks will be held Monday the 4th of July at dusk in the Jim Thorpe Park right off of Highway 51 Yale, Ok. Everyone come and enjoy. American Heritage Bank will be distributing Free Water to all. Enjoy your holiday.
2016 10th Annual June Noble memorial Rodeo in Yale OK
The ACRA Approved IPRA 2016 June Noble Memorial Rodeo will be held in Yale, OK, on Friday and Saturday, May 3th and May 4th, beginning at 8:00pm each evening. The event will be held at the rodeo arena in Jim Thorpe Park located on Hwy 51 in Yale. Mutton Bustin will take place at 7:30pm each night before the rodeo begins.Special events include: Wild Cow Milking-Muttin Bustin-Bareback Riding-Saddle Bronc-Barrel Racing-Team Roping and Steer Roping with the stock is being furnished by OMAK RODEO CO. out of the Catoosa area.Rodeo admission is: Adults, $10.00 Children ages 4-12, $5.00 3 & Under FreeAll military ID holders will be admitted FREE of Charge.Make plans to come out to the park for a day of fun and celebration!

Saturday the gate opens 9 am. to 5 pm.
The battle will be at 2:00 pm.
Sunday the gate opens 9 am. to 5 pm.
The battle will be at 1:30 pm.

Time For Spring Cleaning!

Keep America Beautiful 2016
Plan now to be part of Oklahoma’s springtime statewide cleanup. Teams, clubs and volunteers are encouraged to join in Yale’s participation in the 22ndannual Keep Oklahoma Beautiful. The event is Oklahoma’s Spring Clean Up and is being held in conjunction with the Great American Clean Up. Yale will be participating from April 24-27, 2016. Dumpsters will be located behind the armory on South Main Street. You must present a current utility bill in order to discard your items. No hazardous waste will be accepted. Thrash bags are available at City Hall.
